We know 2021 was a challenging year. But it also brought us all hope and happiness in unexpected ways. As this year comes to an end, we wanted to take some time to reflect on all the events, people and celebrations that brought our communities closer together.

COVID-19 vaccine clinics kept residents, their families and our staff safer and healthier during the ongoing pandemic.

Back in August, we celebrated Family Fun Month, when families had the opportunity to spend quality time and create new memories together. Whether it be having a picnic, creating a scrapbook or planting a garden, we loved watching our residents discover fun activities and new ways to bond with their loved ones.

Our communities had a blast decorating for various holidays throughout the year, like Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Residents and associates came together for the holidays to enjoy delicious foods, games, music and fellowship.

Our priority is making sure our residents are healthy and supported. That’s why Solstice partnered with MeMD Telehealth Services, which provides easier access to medical services in our communities. With MeMD, residents can skip the waiting room, wire prescriptions and access everything in one place.

We recently added a new Family Resources page to all of our community websites. This page provides potential residents and their families the tools to help answer questions, provides peace of mind, and helps make the best decision for their family. This new page also provides a link to our new Making the Decision e-book, which provides a step-by-step guide for those who are interested in learning more about the benefits of independent living or are preparing to talk with family and friends about making the move.

2021 offered ups and downs for our communities across the country. But in typical Solstice fashion, our team rose to the occasion. We would be lost without the help of our amazing associates and the trust of our residents and their families. We look forward to what 2022 will bring.
