Collette Gray, the President and CEO of Integral Senior Living and Solstice Senior Living, joined ISL in October 2010. Under her visionary leadership, ISL has risen to become the ninth-largest senior housing provider in the nation, with a prominent presence in California. With operations spanning 25 states, Collette provides overall strategic direction, driving exceptional results for both ISL and SSL, all while ensuring the utmost in resident and associate service.

Collette’s influence extends to overseeing all new development projects and cultivating an environment where associates are encouraged to bring their unique resources and ideas to the team. The company culture she nurtures lies at the core of ISL and SSL’s resounding success.

In 2023, Integral Senior Living partnered with Discovery Senior Living, creating the nation’s fifth-largest senior housing provider, and Collette continues to serve in her President and CEO role for both Integral Senior Living and Solstice Senior Living and serves as a board member for the newly created board. Notably, in 2017, she played a pivotal role in ISL’s joint venture with NorthStar Healthcare Income, Inc., launching the distinctive Solstice Senior Living brand with 32 independent living communities.

Having spent 28 years in the senior living industry, Collette boasts an impressive track record. Prior to her tenure at ISL, she was with Merrill Gardens for six years, and earlier, she held various positions within Atria Senior Living Group (previously ARV). These roles included Vice President and Regional Director of Operations, Regional Sales and Marketing Director, Executive Director, and her career’s outset as a Community Sales Director at an ARV community.

Beyond her role at Integral Senior Living, Collette is a longstanding board member of the California Assisted Living Association, serving as Chairwoman of their inaugural Workforce Development Committee for three years. Additionally, since 2016, she has been a member of the Argentum board and worked to create the Women in Leadership Committee, serving as its Chairwoman.

Collette’s unwavering commitment to her communities, associates and the industry, earned her recognition in the Hall of Honor at the prestigious 2023 McKnight’s Senior Living Women of Distinction Forum and Awards ceremony.

Residing in Carlsbad, Calif., Collette and her husband, Mickey, cherish time spent with their five children, two dogs and cat. Embracing an outdoor lifestyle, they revel in the beauty of Carlsbad, its beaches and all it has to offer.
