Michelle Moreland is a senior living specialist for Solstice Senior Living. Michelle has been in the health care field for 26 years. She started out working for a mental health provider by opening personal care homes in Georgia. From there, she moved to the senior living industry, where she helped open assisted living communities and served in various operations, sales and marketing roles at both the community and regional levels. She then spent six years with A Place for Mom, where she honed her skills in building professional referrals and discovered her passion for assisting families with finding senior living options to meet their needs. Her next challenge was starting as an internet sales manager in a senior living company’s pilot program, contributing to that team’s growth and success for six years.

Michelle is a leader in several professional organizations, having served on several boards, including My Time to Care Foundation, Georgia Tech Health Affinity Group, and Cobb and Cherokee Services for the Elderly, where she served as president for over 10 years. In her free time, Michelle enjoys volunteering for Special Olympics of Georgia, where she has served for 15 years as director of Summer Games, and volunteering for Variety Radio Online as a host interviewing various pop culture personalities. She has also produced three independent movies and served as production manager on several other film ventures. Michelle is also a member of a dance team that specializes in jazz and tap. They hold a few national titles for their fancy footwork.
