Each month,  Solstice communities organize a Vibrant LifeⓇ and ElevateⓇ Inspires signature event. For October, residents and associates at our community decided to focus on intergenerational connections in the Bakersfield community to support those who have been greatly affected by COVID-19.

Each year, we host a communitywide Halloween party filled with games, pumpkins and yummy treats. We still want to provide kids a fun and safe opportunity to celebrate Halloween with Solstice at Bakersfield. Our community decided to partner with local produce vendor Alpha to donate over 70 pumpkins to Childtime Academy.

Although this year looked different, we are so thankful that we were still able to celebrate Halloween and give back to our community!
